Minister Szijjártó: Hungary will redirect 1.5 million euros intended for Ukraine to help Lebanon
The Hungarian government decided to redirect 1.5 million euros intended for Ukraine to help Lebanon. This was announced by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó.
The minister noted that peace in the Middle East is in the interests of Hungary’s national security. He also called Lebanon’s stability “the key to achieving it.”
“We will not use our share of the European Peace Fund to arm Ukraine. Instead, we will redirect 1.5 million euros to support the Lebanese armed forces,” Szijjarto said.
It was previously known how European countries undermine the sovereignty of Ukraine.
