RedMagic 11 Air slim gaming phone arrives with a transparent design and 7,000mAh battery

As expected, the RedMagic 11 Air phone officially appeared in China today, forming a link between the category of thin phones and gaming phones. The phone comes with the distinctive transparent design of the RedMagic series, with an active cooling fan with RGB lighting, and relies on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor used in previous generation.

Like previous versions of the series, the RedMagic 11 Air features a full AMOLED display without any obstacles. With a 16-megapixel front camera integrated under the screen, and an optical fingerprint sensor. The screen is 6.85 inches with a resolution of 1216 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

As a gaming phone, the device includes side touch control buttons, in addition to strong RAM and storage specifications. The phone comes with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM of up to 16 GB with a bandwidth of up to 9600 MB/s, and a UFS 4.1 storage capacity of up to 512 GB with read speeds of up to 4200 MB/s.

The RedMagic 11 Air is about 7.85mm thick and weighs 207g, and despite being thinner and lighter than most gaming phones, it still has an active cooling fan that speeds up to 24,000rpm. The phone also has an IP54 rating to resist dust and water splashes.

On the back, the phone has a dual camera system, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a 23 mm equivalent lens, a 1/1.55-inch sensor with OIS optical stabilization support, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The phone includes a huge 7000 mAh battery, with support for 120-watt fast wired charging. At the system level, RedMagic 11 Air runs on the RedMagic OS 11.0 interface based on Android 16.

RedMagic 11 Air is available in two colors: Quantum Black and Stardust White, and the price of the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version starts at 3,499 Chinese yuan (about $502), while the price of the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage version reaches 4,199 yuan (about $602).
