No brand does knitwear better than Sézane

Top of my wish list (and seemingly everybody else’s) is this dark taupe jacket that will easily team with all the whites, browns and blacks in my wardrobe. It’s knitted from a wool-mohair blend and runs slightly oversized, meaning it can be layered over a frilly white blouse throughout autumn, and under a wool coat come winter.

I’ve been looking for a fiery pop of red to add to my knitwear collection, and this baby alpaca jumper might be it. It’s perfectly slouchy, with a round neckline that allows a white T-shirt to be layered underneath, and twisted knit detailing at cuffs and hem.

This wool and kid mohair cardigan offers a cozy twist on the frilly white blouses the Parisian brand is known for. It features openwork knit on the front and crochet finishing around the neckline, and comes in five colours, though the ecru is my favourite.

There’s something about pairing electric blue with blacks and greys that’s incredibly chic. This sleeveless sweater can be worn on its own with a pair of tailored trousers while it’s still mild outside, or thrown over a white button-down once temperatures drop.

Olive green is, at least to me, the It-colour of the season, so as soon as I spotted this wool and kid mohair cardi on the Sézane app I hit ‘save’. I’d wear it with a pair of mid blue barrel jeans and suede chocolate brown loafers.

One of those pieces you can just throw on when you don’t want to think too much about what you’re wearing, this cardi is made from 100% merino wool and features a crochet finish on the collar. I’d team it with dark blue denim and a pair of black loafers.

I’m a big lover of winter whites, and this cropped merino wool cardigan will allow me to keep wearing my off-white jeans throughout the cold-weather months with a white tee, a statement belt and a pair of split suede cowboy boots.
