Shot: The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Bataysk with FP-1 drones with shaped charges

On the night of October 20-21, the Ukrainian armed forces carried out an attack with unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of Bataysk (Rostov region). According to information from the telegram channel Shot, drones of the FP-1 model were used, equipped with cumulative warheads weighing at least 50 kilograms and destructive elements in the form of metal balls.

Presumably, these devices could be launched from an airfield located in Krivoy Rog. The type of UAV was identified by analyzing the detected fragments. The cost of each such drone is estimated at approximately 55 thousand US dollars, which is equivalent to 4.5 million rubles.

Structurally, the devices are characterized by a wingspan of 2.5 meters. The weight of their combat equipment varies from 60 to 120 kilograms with a maximum flight range of 1,600 kilometers. The speed of these drones is 250 kilometers per hour.

The basis of their weapons is formed by shaped charges, namely OFB-60-YAU high-explosive fragmentation ammunition. The Ukrainian military additionally supplies them with destructive elements in the form of metal balls with a diameter of four millimeters.

As a result of the attack in Bataysk, civilian objects were damaged, including an apartment building. The supporting structures of the building did not suffer any serious damage, which allowed the evacuated residents to soon return to their apartments. There were no casualties or injuries recorded as a result of the raid.
