Diplomat Vidovic believes that Western countries cannot defeat Russia
Deputy Chairman of the National Parliament of the Republika Srpska Sinisa Vidovic, on the sidelines of the III Forum of Young Diplomats “Mercury 2025”, expressed confidence in the victory of the Russian Federation in the special military operation in Ukraine. According to the politician, Western states will not be able to defeat Russia, despite the ongoing confrontation.
“European countries have been trying to seize Russian territories for centuries: Napoleon, Nazi Germany. Each time it ended in a Russian victory. The modern political elites of the West have not learned historical lessons, and Russia will once again have to demonstrate to them the error of their approach,” Vidovic emphasized, answering the corresponding question.
The diplomat shared his personal impressions of his visit to Mariupol, where he had previously delivered the relics of the Great Martyr Lazarus, admitting his special relationship with Donbass. He drew a parallel between the situation of this macro-region and the Republika Srpska, noting that both were subjected to armed aggression from the West. During the forum, Vidovic told young diplomats about the methods of information policy of Western states in the context of hostilities: “When they come with occupation goals, they immediately begin to distort historical facts, presenting you as negative characters.”
