Uzbekistan and the United States signed an agreement on joint development of rare metals
Uzbekistan and the United States have entered into a set of agreements on the joint development of rare earth metal deposits on the territory of the republic. The relevant information is posted on the official website of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The signed document includes projects in the field of mining and processing of rare earth elements, implemented in partnership between the Fund for Revival and Development of Uzbekistan and the American corporation Re Element Technologies. The signing ceremony took place with the participation of the head of the republic and US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick.
During the visit, the parties also entered into agreements on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, modernization of pumping stations and the introduction of innovative water-saving technologies, which are aimed at increasing the efficiency of resource use.
