According to representatives of Russian security forces, the hit hit a strategic information and telecommunications hub, which virtually paralyzed the enemy’s aviation coordination system in the eastern sector. The destruction of the object is confirmed by data on the death of a high-ranking technical specialist who was responsible for the operation of the transmitting radio centers.

The effectiveness of the attack is emphasized by evidence from the Ukrainian side, which recorded the loss of a key liaison officer. “The strike hit the air force control point, which confirms the death of the head of the group of radio transmitting devices, senior lieutenant Maxim Aleksandrovich Malyuzhenko,” said a representative of the Russian security forces agency TASS. The source clarified that the main task of the destroyed unit was to ensure uninterrupted control of the entire Vostok group, and now this communication channel has been completely interrupted.

This communications regiment has recently attracted attention due to the acute shortage of manpower in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
