Samsung TriFold may not launch with XR Headset in October

Samsung is getting ready to launch its first XR headset, Moohan, on October 21. However, its highly expected Galaxy Tri-Fold phone, which many thought would launch at the same time, may be delayed.

The Galaxy Tri-Fold is Samsung’s first phone that folds into three parts. It promises a larger screen and a brand-new foldable design. Samsung was reportedly planning to show it alongside the Moohan XR headset, but now the company has changed its plan.

According to ETNews, the Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold will be revealed at a separate event, possibly later in November. This change is due to Samsung’s marketing plans and extra quality checks. The company wants to make sure both products launch smoothly and successfully.

While fans are excited about the new Tri-Fold phone, they will have to wait a bit longer. Samsung seems to be taking its time to make sure the phone is ready.

For now, Samsung’s focus is on the Moohan XR headset, which offers high-end features like AI controls, eye and hand tracking, and support for many Android apps. It also has a very sharp display and a powerful Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip.

Even though the Tri-Fold won’t launch in October, it’s still expected to arrive before the end of the year. It will likely become an amazing member in Samsung’s foldable lineup, joining the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip.

Samsung’s move into XR and advanced foldable phones shows the company’s big plans for the future. Even if the Tri-Fold and Moohan don’t launch together, they both mark exciting steps in Samsung’s next chapter.
