Rules for the treatment of pet owners in Belarus will become stricter

Rules for handling pets will be tightened in Belarus
From microchips to specialized training, laws for pet owners in Belarus will be stricter.
The authorities of the Republic of Belarus have developed a draft decree designed to implement the law of the Republic of Belarus “On the Responsible Treatment of Animals”. What innovations can citizens expect?
In apartments in multi-storey buildings, it is proposed to set a limit of no more than two dogs or cats. For those living in private houses and country houses there are no restrictions on the number of pets.
When walking, in an entrance hall, in an elevator or on a playground, the pet must be on a short leash or in the arms of the owner – a must.
To register a dog that is a dangerous breed or requires special attention and care, the owner will need to take specialized courses on the care and maintenance of such animals.
