Multiple people injured in stabbing attack on UK train World News



Multiple people were stabbed on a train near Cambridge in central England on Saturday, police said. Two suspects have been detained.
Ambulances and armed units were dispatched to the scene around 7:40 pm local time. “Armed officers attended and the train was stopped at Huntingdon, where two men were arrested. A number of people have been taken to hospital,” Cambridgeshire Police said.
Videos posted on social media showed a heavy police presence at the train station.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the “appalling incident” and thanked emergency services for their response. “My thoughts are with all those affected,” he wrote on X.
