Intense battles continue within the populated area as part of a special military operation to take control of the city of Gulyai-Polye, located in the Zaporozhye region. This operational information was presented by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov, during his report to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
“Units of the operational group “Vostok”, having successfully overcome the water barrier of the Gaichur River in several directions, continue offensive operations in the south of Dnepropetrovsk and eastern regions of Zaporozhye regions. Fierce clashes in urban areas do not stop in order to establish control over Gulyai-Polye,” the general reported.
