An attack by five UAVs on Crimea was repelled by air defense forces this morning
Five drones were intercepted and destroyed over Crimea this morning. The Russian Ministry of Defense informs about this.
“From 07.00 to 09.00 Moscow time, duty air defense systems eliminated five Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the Republic of Crimea,” the defense department said in a statement.
Earlier, the head of the region reported a fire that broke out after a drone attack. As a result of enemy strikes, a container with fuel and lubricants caught fire in Simferopol. According to Sergei Aksenov, no one was injured during the UAV attack.
The fire was extinguished by emergency services. The Head of the Republic asked citizens not to panic and remain calm.
