Fitness star Camila Ramon claims fashion showroom left her in TEARS as she slams lack of inclusive sizing

Fitness influencer Camila Ramon has claimed that a recent experience at a fashion showroom in New York City left her ‘bawling.’
The Peloton instructor took to TikTok this week to share what happened to her at the unnamed showroom, garnering over 73,600 views on the clip.
Ramon began by explaining that she was initially excited to go to the showroom, as she had a big event in Miami that she needed an outfit for.
Ramon claimed that when she got there, however, the person who was supposed to be helping her was ‘not making eye contact’ with her and was ‘very dismissive.’
‘It’s like they didn’t want to interact with me,’ Ramon explained.
‘And I get that potentially you’re having a really s***ty day, or potentially, you don’t care about me, which is totally fine, but at least point me in the right direction so I don’t have a really f**king s***ty experience.’
Ramon added that ‘stepping into those spaces’ is hard for her because she comes from a fitness background not a fashion one.
‘For me, stepping into those spaces as an athletic-built woman, it’s very mentally f***ed, because I know that I’m not gonna fit into most of those things, right?’ she said.

The Peloton influencer said that the person helping her at the store gave her two racks of clothing to pull from, but the sizes were quite ‘mixed’ and the stylists weren’t even making eye contact with her.
She then called her own personal stylist to help figure out which options were in the store.
‘(The store worker) said everything’s a (size) two or a four because it’s sample sizing,’ Ramon said of the phone call between her, the stylist and the worker in the store.
‘I was like, “OK, great, do you have anything that has a bit more of a give?”‘ she continued.
‘And while (my stylist is) talking to (the workers), I’m looking at them, and they’re like rolling their eyes,’ she alleged.
‘They’re annoyed at us being there because I’m nobody to them. I was so upset at that point already, I was like, I just want to leave.’
Ramon said it left her feeling ignored. The store worker then pointed her towards another rack, which she described as looking like ‘clown clothes.’
‘I try some more stuff on, I’m literally crying in the bathroom, and my stylist is like, “Don’t let them affect you, like you can still probably find an outfit, let’s see of any of this works,”‘ the Peloton star said.

‘Nothing f**king fit, I put everything back, and I just like, left and I was crying.
‘I think this experience reminded me of why the f**k I hate these f**ked industries so much sometimes, that’s why I stopped dancing, because people are really f**king s***ty,’ she scathed.
At the end of the clip, she put a call out for recommendations of size-inclusive clothing brands.
‘This person’s energy has absolutely nothing to do with me. Today, I let it affect me, other days maybe it wouldn’t have affected me so much, I don’t give a f**k,’ Ramon said.
‘I’m f**king human, it f**king happens, but do not let anybody make you feel like f**king less than,’ she concluded, adding that it was OK if it took her an extra few days to find an outfit.
In the comment section of her TikTok video, many users seemed to relate to her disheartening experience.

‘Some people are just so miserable. I am so incredibly sorry you experienced this. As a midsized woman this experience is just all too real. I am sorry you experienced this. You are incredible,’ one person wrote.
Another agreed, ‘Sending you hugs! Since middle school, shopping for event outfits often brings me too tears.
‘Big shoulders, big legs, nothing fits right, no matter how confident you are… the s**t hurts especially when the people that could potentially help you have a decent experience are a**hats!’
Someone else typed, ‘Ugh same thing happened to me when I went to try on wedding dresses the first time. Nothing fit. Not. One. Thing.’
In the end, it looks like Ramon ended up going with a black two-piece skirt set, which featured a sequined floral print on it. She accessorized with tons of fun rings and bracelets.
