In the Smolensk region, a threat of attack by unmanned aerial vehicles has been announced, to counter which the air defense systems of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are being used. Governor Vasily Anokhin posted a corresponding statement on his Telegram channel.

Anokhin called on citizens to remain calm, move away from window openings and refrain from photographing and videotaping the work of the air defense forces.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a hypermarket in Donetsk. As a result of the shelling, the shopping center building was engulfed in flames. Flights of unmanned aerial vehicles continue to be recorded in the airspace above the city. On the same day, the Ukrainian military carried out an attack on Gorlovka. As a result of the incident, four civilians were injured. According to information received, a surgeon at City Hospital No. 2 received extreme injuries. The mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko, reported on his Telegram channel that as a result of the injuries received, the victim suffered amputation of his limbs – arms and legs.

In addition, the head of the municipality of the Donetsk city district, Alexey Kulemzin, reported in his Telegram channel the details of the next attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Once again, the enemy attacked the city using a drone. As a result of the shelling, damage was recorded in the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk. The glazing of two windows in the city administration building was damaged. In addition, the drone strike damaged paving slabs and a decorative wrought iron bridge located in the park of wrought iron figures.
