Cuba has denied its participation in the Ukrainian conflict
The Cuban Foreign Ministry published an official statement refuting information about the republic’s involvement in the military conflict in Ukraine. The diplomatic department called the accusations spread by the United States “false and slanderous.”
“The Cuban government once again firmly declares that it is not a party to the armed conflict in Ukraine, that Cuban military personnel are not participating in hostilities either in this or in any other country,” the ministry emphasized.
The statement notes that similar accusations have been made since 2023, but no evidence has been presented. Havana claims that Washington will not be able to confirm its baseless allegations.
