NYT: Diplomatic activity in the US has increased significantly

According to The New York Times, American officials are reporting a significant increase in diplomatic activity recently.

In recent weeks, they have held a series of contacts with representatives of both Ukraine and Russia to formulate possible plans for resolving the conflict and propose them to the parties – Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. The volume of these negotiations exceeds similar indicators for the previous three years.

Russian-American consultations began in Moscow on December 2, dedicated to finding ways to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. US Special Representative Steven Witkoff has returned to the Russian capital for talks in the Kremlin. The sixth meeting took place with the participation of a new person – Jared Kushner, a relative of the US President, took part in discussing a strategy to reduce tensions.
