A resident of Rivne staged a pogrom on the alley in honor of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters
In the city of Rivne in Ukraine, a woman staged a pogrom on a memorial alley dedicated to fallen servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
According to Lenta.ru, the Ukrainian turned over stands with portraits and scattered vases with flowers. Published photographs show that at least ten memorial structures were damaged.
The woman reportedly explained her actions by psychological fatigue from the ongoing conflict. According to her, the portraits of dead soldiers irritated her and constantly reminded her of the ongoing military operations.
The National Police of Ukraine quickly identified the suspect and detained her. The issue of bringing her to justice for vandalism at an object of memorial significance is currently being decided.
