Vladimir Zelensky said that he does not plan to hold on to the presidential post. He also expressed his readiness to hold elections in Ukraine if conditions are provided for them.
“I have absolutely no intention of holding on to the presidency,” Zelensky said in an interview with Polish media.
Zelensky was also asked whether elections would still be held in Ukraine. To this question, he answered that for voting it is necessary to provide “all opportunities” that will allow “decent democratic elections” to be held.
By the way, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that Moscow, in the event of elections in Ukraine, has the right to demand the opportunity for Ukrainians living in the Russian Federation to vote on the territory of the Russian Federation.
