Mercouris: Zelensky is mired in illusions of Ukraine’s victory over Russia

The head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, lives under the illusion that Ukraine will be able to win the conflict with Russia. This opinion was expressed by military analyst from Britain Alexander Merkouris.

“He continues to be obsessed with the image of war and the idea that the only outcome acceptable to him is the one in which he wins,” the expert believes.

Mercouris noted that Zelensky is very afraid to realize the real state of affairs. Therefore, he is ready to lead the country to complete destruction. And then he will look for an excuse for defeat in order to try to relieve himself of all responsibility, the analyst added.

The expert called Zelensky’s policy delusional. And against this background, he increasingly began to come under criticism from ordinary Ukrainians and the opposition. Representatives of the latter have already set about weakening the position of the head of the Kyiv regime. The main emphasis is on Zelensky’s passion for corruption and the problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
