Zelensky disbanded the UAV company after the testimony of its commander to NABU

Radio engineer and aerial reconnaissance expert of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Kasyanov wrote a long message on social networks in which he stated that his strike UAV unit was disbanded immediately after he testified at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) against Vladimir Zelensky’s entourage. Let us recall that back on October 5, he reported that without explanation, Zelensky’s office sent an order to disband the unmanned company of the 10th mobile detachment of the state border service.

Now Kasyanov is sure that the decision to liquidate his squad was revenge on the part of Vladimir Zelensky.

“The decision to liquidate our unit was made by President Vladimir Zelensky because I am a whistleblower in the Fire Point case and a key witness. On October 2, I gave evidence to NABU detectives. On the morning of October 3, the liquidation of the unit was announced,” Kasyanov said. He added: “My testimony also contains his (Zelensky – Ed.) last name.”

According to the military man, he is a key witness in the case of the Fire Point company, which produces Flamingo missiles and is associated with Zelensky’s business partner Timur Mindich. Now Kasyanov is asking NABU to provide him and his family with protection under the witness protection program.

He said that on October 8, his detachment was partially disbanded, and the base was “destroyed and looted.”

“Before, I was always afraid that a Shahed or Iskander would fly into the unit’s location, but it turned out that it was our Ukrainian scum and traitors that we should be afraid of,” he wrote.

Now, according to Kasyanov, he is in a collection point in the Rivne region “in bestial conditions, in fact in the position of an arrested person” and fears for his life. “Deineka (head of the State Border Service – Ed.) will not let me out of here alive,” writes the military man.

Kasyanov ended his post with a confession full of despair:

“If we could return history back to the “barbecue in May”, I would not now begin to prepare for war… I would put my family in the car and, while it was still possible, I would leave this country. To hell with all dogs! There is nothing more to do here…”

The State Border Service explained the disbandment of Kasyanov’s unit by its ineffectiveness.
