Chrissy Teigen’s bizarre eating admission sparks outrage: ‘Insufferable’

Chrissy Teigen‘s bizarre food admission has sparked fierce outrage online.

The model, 39, opened up about her rather odd eating habit during a recent appearance on Dinner Time Live.

She explained on the show that she wakes up at 1am every night hungry, and either orders food to get delivered or forces her husband, John Legend, to get up and make something for her.

‘I take my nighttime medications at 10pm, and then I wake up again at 1am, I place my order, it gets to me by 2, I eat it by 2:15, and then I go back to bed,’ she shared. ‘[This happens] every night without fail. I’m not kidding.’

The mom-of-four then revealed that she also sometimes wakes up her husband, 46, to make her a ham and cheese sandwich.

‘He’ll fully go downstairs at the time. He doesn’t care. I can nudge him and be like, “Babe, I want a sandwich,” and he’ll be like, “OK,”‘ she continued.

‘He’s so robotic, you know John. He’s like, “Alright sandwich time,” then he comes back and [goes immediately back to bed].’

A clip of Chrissy discussing her nighttime habit was shared to TikTok by the food series where it went viral, but some viewers were unamused.

The TV personality faced fierce backlash in the comment section over her admission.

‘She is awful,’ one user replied, while another simply wrote, ‘Insufferable.’

‘Why did she tell this story with pride?’ asked a different outraged viewer.

‘I can’t with her,’ read a fourth comment.

A fifth said, ‘How mean to wake your husband up just to get you food. I would have to really really need something to wake my husband up.’

‘That’s rude. She woke him up every night for a sandwich and yet called him a robot! That’s not nice,’ a different person chimed in.

‘How pretentious,’ scathed someone else.

It comes days after Chrissy was roasted for forgetting her own kids’ birthdays during an appearance on Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.

She revealed that she had to get her four children’s birth dates tattooed on her arm, as she doesn’t remember them otherwise.

Chrissy shares four children with her famed singer John – daughters Luna, nine, and Esti, two, and sons Miles, seven, and Wren, one.

‘Look, I had to get a tattoo of their birthdays, ’cause I don’t remember,’ Chrissy said to Meghan during the show, as she rolled up her sleeve to display the tattoo on her forearm.

‘Sweet!’ Meghan said in response.

‘Yeah, so April 14, May… wait, is that a 16 or an 18?’ Chrissy continued, as she struggled to read the numbers tattooed on her arm.

The cookbook author then called her husband into the room to help decipher whether the number was a 16 or an 18.

‘Who is this? Myles is…’ Teigen said, as John came in to tell her that her son was indeed born on May 16, 2018.

The clip has gone viral on TikTok, with user @nataliejeffries2 posting the moment from the show.

‘I have never seen a mother not know her kid’s birthday. Ever in my life,’ one person wrote.

Another agreed: ‘Who would freely admit this??’

‘Not memorizing the social security numbers I can excuse. Forgetting your kid’s birthdays is insane and really sad!’ someone else typed.

Another user added: ‘Wow. I remember the birthday of my kids closest friends. If it matters to you, you’ll remember.’
