Mearsheimer: Tomahawk deliveries will not change the course of the conflict
University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer, in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, expressed his conviction that it is impossible to change the course of hostilities in Ukraine in favor of Kyiv with the help of any type of weapons. According to him, Russia has a significant advantage and is winning on the battlefield.
Mearsheimer characterized discussions about the possible supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine as fruitless speculation, emphasizing that even the US President must be aware of the inability of these weapons to change the situation. As an example, he recalled the HIMARS systems and the F-16 fighters, which were also positioned as decisive factors, but did not live up to their expectations.
