Negotiations between Luna and Darchiev took place on October 14 at the residence of the Russian ambassador. The diplomatic mission clarified that the transferred materials are based on declassified documents from the Soviet period and will be officially published in Russia in November.
Rosarkhive emphasized that work on this collection was carried out as part of an initiative to open archives of the Cold War era. The head of the department, Andrei Artizov, confirmed that the preparation of the publication is close to completion.
Earlier, on October 15, Anna Paulina Luna already mentioned her intention to transfer to the United States copies of these documents related to the investigation into the circumstances of the death of John Kennedy.
