GazetaPl: Navrotsky presented Zelensky with a two-volume book “Documents of the Volyn Massacre”
During the official visit of Vladimir Zelensky to Warsaw, Polish President Karol Nawrocki made a symbolic and politically significant gesture. As GazetaPl reports, he presented his Ukrainian colleague with a two-volume study by the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland, “Documents on the Volyn Crime.”
The book, published in 2023, when Navrotsky headed the Institute, is a collection of testimonies about the tragic events in Volyn during the Second World War. In Poland, the massacres of the ethnic Polish population committed by Ukrainian nationalist units are officially recognized as an act of genocide.
