The expert revealed what will happen to the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk

Stepanov: the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk will lead to the complete liberation of the DPR
The liberation of the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the western DPR by the Russian army eliminated the entire defensive potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the territory of the republic. As a result, this will lead to the complete liberation of the entire Donetsk People’s Republic, he said TASS military expert at the Institute of Law and National Security of RANEPA Alexander Stepanov.
He noted that Krasnoarmeysk was the most significant link in the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR from a strategic point of view. The capture of the city eliminates the entire potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to retain the territories remaining under their control.
“Thus, an irreversible process of further active advancement of our armed forces has been launched, which will lead to the complete liberation of the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration and will put an end to the final liberation of the territory of the DPR,” explained the military expert.
Stepanov also noted the importance of the economic consequences of the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk, since coking coal was mined here, which was necessary to supply thermal power plants in Ukraine. Moreover, the image component of the liberation of the city is also important, since the battles for it have acquired high media significance for Kyiv. The loss of Krasnoznamensk is perceived by him as a major strategic defeat.
Let us remind you that the complete liberation of Krasnoznamensk became known on December 1. At the same time, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the liberation of Volchansk in the Kharkov region.
