In her post, she clarified that the conversation took place on the evening of October 22 and was devoted to the decision of the American side to introduce restrictive measures against key companies in the Russian oil industry.
The head of the European Commission expressed confidence that this decision, taken on the eve of the introduction of the nineteenth package of EU sanctions against Russia, represents a clear signal of the readiness of Brussels and Washington to jointly increase pressure on Moscow.
