Samsung wins 47 awards at IDEA 2025 for outstanding design

Samsung has earned 47 awards at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2025. IDEA is run by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and looks at design innovation, how useful products are to people, and their positive impact on society.

The Korean Tech giant won 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze awards, along with 39 finalist recognitions. The awards celebrate smart, creative, and helpful designs that improve everyday life.

Samsung won two Gold awards. The first was for its Mobile Design Visual Identity System, which gives all Galaxy products a clear and unified look, from packaging to stores. The second Gold went to Samsung Inclusive Essentials, a design made to help visually impaired and elderly users easily use home appliances through shapes, colors, sounds, and lights.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

Samsung’s Silver award winners include the Galaxy Tab S10 Series with AI tools and 3D home device control, the Smart Modular House designed for flexible living with future tech, and Digital Twin, an AI system for managing buildings more efficiently.

The Bronze awards went to the Galaxy S24 FE for its great design and AI camera, the Samsung Vision AI Story for creative TV branding, and the EHS MONO System, a smart home energy device with a built-in touchscreen. Samsung also had 39 products named as Finalists, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Flip 6, the Smart Monitor M9, and the Bespoke AI Laundry Hub.
