The next wave of One UI 8 Global rollout

At least 8 Samsung phones will upgrade to One UI 8 in the next wave of Global rollout. The company has updated the Galaxy S25 series globally. Now, it’s the turn for last-gen models to receive the treatment they deserve.

Over the past two days, Samsung has expanded the availability of the One UI 8 update to more models. The company has started the rollout for eight more Galaxy devices, including flagships, foldables, and mid-range models.

While the Korean and Indian roadmap lists the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S24 series in October, Samsung itself impressed the users. After South Korea, it’s now the turn for Global users to benefit from the latest software.

This week, Galaxy S24, S24 FE, S24+, and S24 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy A56 and A36 have received One UI 8. Samsung will most likely bring the upgrade to these 8 devices in the Global market tomorrow.

The initial rollout and two regional schedules promise the expansion tomorrow. Before the official reveal, Turkey’s timeline first disclosed September 25 as the date of expansion, which was also mentioned in the Brazilian doc.

Among the eight devices, four are Galaxy S24 series models, two are foldables released in 2024, and two are premium Galaxy A phones. If you own any of the devices, tomorrow could be a big day as One UI 8 is slated to drop.

The Korean tech giant impressed with the expansion of Galaxy S25’s update. The software even reached carrier-locked and unlocked models the same day as Global. Hopefully, the pace of distribution will be maintained.

One UI 8 installs the much-needed Now Brief feature on previous flagships. It is available for the Galaxy S24 series (FE too), Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. This feature offers personalized briefings thrice a day to keep you updated on your routine.

The Galaxy A phones will also receive a major experience boost. One UI 8 introduces design refinements that reflect in everyday usage. Well, don’t expect inclusion of Galaxy AI as it’s still exclusive to flagship phones.
