Samsung’s Gallery Assistant works on One UI 7 phones, not just the One UI 8 get it now

Samsung yesterday launched the Gallery Assistant Beta in South Korea, but the Stable version is also available, and it works on One UI 7 phones too.

Galaxy Assistant app brings some serious editing tools to your Samsung phone. The array includes features that let you reduce the size of images and videos, rotate and flip, image clipping, add a watermark, compare images, save as PDF, and print.

Samsung’s Beta launch notes specifically mentioned the requirement of One UI 8 and selected Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S25 series, Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip7 FE. Well, the official version has all those features from Beta.

The Gallery Assistant is currently available for Korean users from the Galaxy Store. Beta Program can be enrolled through the Samsung Members app. Meanwhile, the global users can also gain access to the latest plugin.

The Gallery Assistant app’s APK file is available online on APKMirror. You need to sideload the app after disabling the Auto Blocker feature. Once installed, you will be able to use all the new features and editing tools.
