Samsung US lights up Coca-Cola sign at Citi Field with new LED display

Samsung US has given a bright new upgrade to the famous Coca-Cola sign at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. This update is part of Samsung’s ongoing work with the Mets to make the ballpark more fun and high-tech for fans.

The Korean Tech giant has replaced the old sign with a new, high-tech LED version to improve the fan experience. The new sign has over 22,117 bright LED pixels and can shine with up to 3,000 nits of brightness. This makes it easy to see in any weather, whether it’s sunny, rainy, or cloudy.

over, Samsung also worked with Coca-Cola to repaint the sign to match its classic red color exactly. The display is built to last and is protected from dust and heavy rain.

Since 2021, Samsung has worked with the Mets to turn Citi Field into a modern, high-tech ballpark. The stadium now has over 1,300 Samsung screens, digital ribbon boards, and a giant double-sided scoreboard in centerfield that shows replays, player stats, and game action in 4K quality.

The Coca-Cola sign sits above Coca-Cola Corner, a large 9,000-square-foot fan area with food, drinks, games, and great views of the field. The new sign lights up the stadium and can also be seen clearly on TV by fans watching at home.

Samsung also made the sign easier to service and connected it to the Mets’ control room. New digital content for the sign is being made by Ross Video.
