Samsung releases Stable One UI 8 (Android 16) update for Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6

Samsung is running ahead of its own schedule, rolling out the Stable One UI 8 update to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Starting with Beta Program participants, the major upgrade is making its way to the South Korean market.

The latest CYI7/CYI6 releases mark the end of Samsung’s Beta Program. Users who are running a Beta build are receiving an incremental update. It switches the Beta software to the official one, enhancing overall stability.

Samsung started the One UI 8 Beta Program for these two foldable phones in mid-August 2025. It took the company roughly a month and half to stabilize the software. You can find out the latest PDA build versions below.

One UI 8 introduces a broad array of new features. The simplification that Samsung has made is worth welcoming across the OS. It not only eases the usability but also streamlines the overall functionality of the system.

Samsung brings a new camera feature called Best Face to Galaxy devices. It’s powered by AI and lets you fix your group photos. Once captured, you can edit the image in the Gallery app, leveraging the recommendations.

The Wallpaper and style section has also been improved with a new feature. It analyzes your phone’s Gallery app and recommends pictures that can be a masterpiece on your Samsung phone’s lock screen.

Adaptive clock style is one of the best additions in the One UI 8 update. The new style includes a cool font style that optimizes based on the wallpaper. It offers a truly unique appearance to the lock screen clock functionality.

The update is rolling out first to Beta participants, and non-Beta users will also receive it soon. You can check for the latest updates through Settings, followed by Software update and Download and install.
