Samsung finally launches One UI 8 Watch Beta for Galaxy Watch 6 and Classic

In a surprise development, Samsung has launched the One UI 8 Watch Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. It took the company months to expand the Beta activity to the users of older smartwatch models.

One UI 8 Watch Beta is now available for Galaxy Watch 6 and Classic in South Korea. The testing might be expanded to one more market: the United States. At the same time, the Galaxy Watch 7 is preparing for the Stable update.

Interested users can join the Beta Program through the Samsung Members app. Make sure you’ve already logged in with your Samsung Account. Open the Samsung Members app, scroll down to the Beta Program hub, and proceed.

If you’ve joined the One UI 8 Beta for a smartphone, the process will be a bit simpler. However, signing up for the Watch Beta isn’t a big hurdle. Accept the terms and conditions and hit the Enroll button to ensure your registration.

Upon successful registration, you will receive the One UI 8 Watch Beta OTA update. You can access it right inside the Galaxy Wearable app’s Software update section.

Before you upgrade to the new Beta OS, make sure to back up your watch’s data. Also, maintain a battery juice of over 50 percent to get the software installed without any issue.
