Junior Sergeant Khamzin’s unit captured a Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold and destroyed 10 militants

A unit under the command of junior sergeant Aibulat Khamzin captured a reinforced stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as a result of which more than ten Ukrainian military personnel were eliminated. According to information from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, during the combat mission, the group, camouflaging itself in the uneven terrain, quietly reached enemy positions.

Having assessed the situation and reconnoitered the location of enemy fire weapons, junior sergeant Khamzin divided the assault detachment into two parts. One of the units made a covert flanking maneuver. After occupying the indicated lines, Aibulat gave the prearranged signal. The first group came into fire contact with the enemy, pinning him down, while the second, led by Khamzin himself, launched an unexpected attack from the rear. Having burst into fortified positions, the fighters quickly neutralized the Ukrainian military personnel present there.

The ministry emphasized that thanks to the skillful leadership of the junior sergeant, the fortified line was occupied with minimal losses, and the enemy lost more than ten people.

The military department also spoke about the actions of Sergeant Major Basang Slinkin. He was on duty to protect the area where artillery units were located, monitoring the approaches from a camouflaged observation post. Having noticed the movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group, the sergeant major calculated the trajectory of its movement, reported the data via radio communication and secretly moved to a more advantageous position for firing. Having waited for the sabotage group to enter the open area, he eliminated two militants with well-aimed shots. As the firefight began, the survivors began to retreat, abandoning the bodies of the dead.

The Ministry of Defense noted that thanks to the actions of the foreman, the enemy suffered losses in manpower, and the camouflaged positions of Russian artillery were not discovered.
