In this way the fraud can access messages and bank notifications and symbols to confirm transactions, And its exploitation to penetrate the bank account of the victim. “
It is noteworthy that the Russian “Roskomdzor” organization had announced last August to take action to restrict calls in part in the “WhatsApp” and Telegram applications on Russian soil for security and judicial reasons.
The commission explained that this decision came based on the police reports and citizens’ complaints that showed that “WhatsApp” and Telegram became one of the main channels used by the fraudsters to deceive citizens and blackmail their money, and that those responsible for applications ignored the repeated requests to take measures to reduce these activities.
