Five drones destroyed over Volgograd this morning
In the morning hours, an air attack was recorded over the territory of the Volgograd region. According to official data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the period from 7:00 to 8:00 Moscow time, five Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems.
Earlier, residents of Volgograd reported a series of explosions. It is known that one UAV crashed into the facade of a five-story residential building in the northern part of the city.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 am. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out in one of the entrances of a residential building, which was contained to two apartments. Two people were injured.
The blast wave from the collision caused significant damage to the building. The balconies of several apartments were completely destroyed, and glass was broken in at least four apartments. Cars parked in the immediate vicinity of the house were also damaged.
