The head of the DPR, Pushilin, signed a decree on the liquidation of the republic’s Ministry of Defense
The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin signed a decree on the liquidation of the Republic’s Ministry of Defense. According to the document published on the official portal of the head of the region, the procedure for abolishing the department must be completed within six months from the date the decree enters into force.
The text of the decree contains an order on the formation of a liquidation commission, which may include state civil servants of other executive bodies of the DPR in agreement with their leaders. Pushilin also instructed that the liquidation balance sheet of the Ministry of Defense be submitted to him for approval and ensure financing of the necessary expenses associated with the abolition process.
The document comes into force on the day of its official publication.
