Paris Fashion Weeks worst dressed From bizarre belts to ripped trousers and flashing bras, the stars who are anything but haute couture

Paris may be the home of haute couture, but the grand dames of the Avenue Montaigne will no doubt clutch their pearls in horror as a parade of scantily-clad stars attempt to stand out from the crowd at Fashion Week.

Since its inauguration in October 1973, each October, the entire French capital becomes a catwalk, with A-list guests expected to be just as stylish as the models on the catwalk.

However, the ‘street style’ phenomenon has a lot to answer for. After fashion bloggers started creating eye-catching looks for Instagram, photographers took note and the attendees in eye-catching outfits became just as fascinating as the models and Hollywood stars on the front row.

The effect has been to encourage increasingly outrageous casual looks in the hope of turning heads – with very varied results.

Among them was FKA Twigs37, who made an entrance yesterday wearing a graphic t-shirt with a violent looking face and the word ‘uncensored’ scrawled over the chest.

Looking almost as if they’d been ripped by the teeth of the creature on her chest, FK donned a pair of threadbare trousers with handfuls of material cascading down at her legs.

She was pictured by the city’s famous Louvre to attend the Louis Vuitton show, where she was joined by Australian TV personality, Lara Worthington38, who also suffered a fashion mishap.

Ms Worthington strolled onto the concourse wearing a peculiar blue dress with buckles running around the collarbones and waist, paired with clunky black ankle boots.

With long, heavy sleeves and a low-ruffled waist, the dress did nothing to show off Laura’s stunning figure, and looked frumpy paired with a set of wedge black boots.

Elsewhere, Emma Chamberlain, 24, channelled an extraterrestrial look in a baby blue ensemble with a high-neck vest body suit that was visible beneath a sheer blue skirt.

She finished the blue look with knee-high boots in the same shade, a set of sunglasses, and a slick of bright red lipstick.

And internet personality Ginevra Mavilla also found herself on the worst-dressed list while wearing a matching beige cardigan and skirt set.

Attempting to create a fashion defying look, the 23-year-old had tied buttons reaching from different angles to create an odd geometric look, with a lace bralette creating a sultry side effect beneath.

With two jam-packed days of glamour now complete, the runway has already seen stunning collections from fashion houses including Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney.

Also among those who failed to hit the mark was American model, Hailey Bieber, 28, who has suffered two fashion mishaps already.

On Monday, she was seen strutting down the catwalk for Yves Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2026 Women’s ready-to-wear collection, designed by Anthony Vaccarello.

She made a shocking entrance wearing a bizarre ensemble of tights, large lime green knickers and a burnt orange wind breaker.

Wearing her own clothes later in the evening proved no better. After the show, she visited Paris’s Loulou restaurant wearing a sheer a sheer leopard-print mini dress.

The outfit, which seemed somewhat dated when compared to the sea of stylish garments donned earlier in the day.

Cara Delevingne, 33, also failed to impress while attending A Celebration of Women’s Empowerment fashion show.

The model fell flat in a long lace dress that featured thick lines in the style of a bodice and had a large, unseemly bow hanging just below the pelvis.

And actress Sophie Turner. 29, left heads turning away as she stepped out in an unusual winged cape and chainmail black shirt.

Attending the Louis Vuitton Womenswear show, the Game of Thrones star shocked fellow fashion-lovers, with the top heavy chest, a plain black mini skirt and a slouched pair of boots.

American rapper, Ice Spice, 25, attempted to keep it simple in a beige ruffled dress worn off the shoulder.

While it succeeded in showing off her curvaceous figure, the large shoulder strap was awkwardly pulled taut over her body. The fashion crash was further exacerbated by a large caramel bag.

Chiara Ferragni, 38, a popular Italian vlogger, also appeared to have a wardrobe malfunction while attending the Stella McCartney show on Tuesday.

She wore a long, heavy silk dress in navy that was pulled in at the middle to reveal all but two slithers of flesh.

But the high-neck frock looked frumpy with a wide-shoulder design and long sleeves.

Attending the same show yesterday, Coco Jones, 27, (pictured) had a fashion flop in a long white frock with strange stitch work rising up in a V-shape up towards her neck and giving way to ruffles on either side

Clara Berry, 31, (pictured) who is the icon of Jean Paul Gaultier’s fragrance, made an entrance when she arrived at the Pressiat show with not only a fairly fatal fashion error, but a wince-worthy makeup look

Attending the same show yesterday, Coco Jones, 27, had a fashion flop in a long white frock with strange stitch work rising up in a V-shape up towards her neck and giving way to ruffles on either side.

The American singer, usually seen expertly executing fashion-forward looks and often turning to the early 2000s for inspiration, bombed in the strange square garment.

Clara Berry, 31, who is the icon of Jean Paul Gaultier’s fragrance, made an entrance when she arrived at the Pressiat show with not only a fairly fatal fashion error, but a wince-worthy makeup look.

Clara, who is the ex-girlfriend of actor, KJ Apa, shocked in a gawdy, plastic leopard print coat the rippled down her legs.

With no trouser-wear to be seen, the flowing coat made visible the top of her knickers, tops of her thighs and a generous section of her chest. Paired with heavy black lace up boots, Clara appeared to channel a Cruella de Vil look.

But the main culprit of the malfunction was her makeup, which appeared to have been properly blended beneath her eyes, revealing a harsh, white flashback.

Others, including the vintage clothes influencer, Marie Gageuch, wore a strange ensemble featuring a large teal knitted jumper, overhanging lace white top and heavy plum purple skirt.

She finished the look with a heavy black belt pulled tight around her waist. Adding to the strange outfit, Marie wore her hair bright red.
