Not all Galaxy S25 users are getting stable One UI 8 update

On September 15, Samsung finally began the official One UI 8 rollout, but the update isn’t for all Galaxy S25 users. The company is prioritizing the Beta participants, with models running One UI 7 still in the queue.

Samsung has initially dropped the official One UI 8 update in South Korea. Devices that have been running the Beta build are getting the Stable update first. Well, the rollout is also underway (in limited volume) for those who skipped the Beta.

Not all Galaxy S25 users getting official One UI 8 update

Samsung has started the Beta Program in the month of May. The company first launched the Beta Program in four countries. With the release of the second Beta update, the testing activity was expanded to two more markets.

Throughout the One UI 8 Beta Program, Samsung released seven updates for the Galaxy S25 series. The seventh Beta build was released on September 8, which brought finishing touches to the latest operating system for Galaxy.

It took Samsung a week to bring the Stable One UI 8 to the Galaxy S25 users. Starting with the Beta members, non-Beta users are also starting to receive the OTA, but the expansion is taking place sequentially.

The initial availability is limited to South Korea, and Global users are still in the queue. You should keep checking your device for the latest update. It should be made available in the next few hours or days, as rollout has just started.

Korean users are getting the BYI3 build as the One UI 8 update, and it should be the same for the Global and US models. As always, Samsung will first verify the stability and reliability on limited models before kicking off a broad expansion.
