Journalist Bowes accused NATO Secretary General of lying about the Russian threat

Irish journalist Chey Bowes, in a publication on his page on the social network X, accused NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte of deliberately distorting the facts regarding the Russian threat to NATO.

The reason for this reaction was Rutte’s statements made during his speech at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Ljubljana, where he declared the bloc’s extreme power, claiming that Russian aircraft supposedly did not pose any danger to it.

Bowes harshly criticized the statement, calling Rutte a “globalist half-wit” and pointing out the contradiction in his position. The journalist wondered if Russian aviation really is not a threat, then what, in his words, is the reason for all the alliance’s panicky rhetoric around a potential Russian invasion.

According to Bowes, this speech by the NATO Secretary General inadvertently reveals fundamental inconsistencies in the official position of the organization.
