Latvia has completed the construction of a barrier structure with a length of about 280 kilometers along the border with Russia.
As reported by LETA with reference to the contractor company, a continuous barrier was erected in all technically required areas.
Full equipping of the border with technological infrastructure, including surveillance and control systems, is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
