Available from September 9, this fried sweet treat was last available in KFC Australia stores in 2024.

Following persistent pleas from fans to bring it back, Fried Cookie Dough has now officially returned to the menu - but only for a limited time.

Featuring a signature crispy golden exterior and an indulgently decadent chocolate chip cookie dough interior, this treat oozes gooey goodness.

KFC Australia Marketing Director Sally Spriggs said KFC was excited to be bringing back the fan-requested favourite.

'Delighting our fans with truly unforgettable taste experiences is what we do best, and our Fried Cookie Dough delivers exactly that,' Sally said.

The melt-in-your-mouth sensation was a sellout when KFC Australia launched it in stores for a limited time in August 2024.

So, if you've been yearning for the golden crunchy exterior and gooey choc-chip filled treat, now's your chance to indulge.

Fried Cookie Dough is now available for a limited time across KFC restaurants nationwide.

The dessert can be purchased as a standalone item or as part of a meal box.

For an afternoon sugar hit, Fried Cookie Dough can be purchased as three pieces for $2.95 or six pieces from $5.95.

It also comes as a dessert in the Complete Treat box, which includes a Zinger Burger, two pieces of Hot & Crispy, three pieces of Fried Cookie Dough, chips, potato and gravy and a drink.

The sweet treat is also available for delivery via the KFC App, so you can get your Fried Cookie Dough fix without even hopping off your couch.

Fans have been clamouring for Fried Cookie Dough's return by flooding the comments section of an old video on KFC's TikTok account.
