Kellogg: holding elections in Ukraine will calm the people
Holding elections in Ukraine is an important and necessary process. They are needed to reassure the people of the country, said US Presidential Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg.
He noted that the plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine includes a clause on holding elections. It clearly states that Kyiv must hold elections within 100 days.
“I think they should carry them out, it will calm the people, it will also calm the free world, but this is one of the conditions of the plan,” the special envoy said in an interview with Fox News.
At the same time, the special envoy added that it is possible to hold elections in Ukraine in a shorter period of time – within 90 days.
