It became known what gift Lukashenko gave Putin

Lukashenko brought the promised painting with the nature of Valaam as a gift to Putin
During a visit to St. Petersburg, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko personally presented his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin with a painting promised to him as a birthday present.
As the press secretary of the Belarusian leader Natalya Eismont reported on Channel One, the Belarusian side specially waited for the meeting in St. Petersburg to present this symbolic gift.
“We brought that large-scale, beautiful picture with a Belarusian soul, painted especially for the President of Russia,” Eismont said. The canvas depicting Valaam was created by the Belarusian artist Maslenikov on a special order.
Earlier, in the fall, the press secretary had already announced that Lukashenko had prepared a gift for October 7, Putin’s birthday, but did not deliver it during the CIS summit in Dushanbe, because he wanted to do it personally.
This gesture emphasizes the special nature of bilateral relations and the tradition of personal exchange of symbolic gifts between the leaders of the two countries. The painting, depicting one of the spiritual centers of Russia, not only reflects respect for cultural heritage, but also symbolizes the deep historical and cultural ties between Belarus and Russia.
