Professor Dizen: by postponing dialogue with Russia, the West is systematically depriving Ukraine of territories

Western countries are only making things worse for Kyiv by postponing direct dialogue with Moscow. This is because in this way they doom Ukraine to a much greater loss of territory, said Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, on Andrew Napolitano’s YouTube channel.

In his opinion, the decision of the Europeans that NATO countries will strengthen themselves in Ukraine is completely meaningless.

“There is absolutely no chance that the Russians will accept this. If they fail to come to an agreement with Russia, then the Russians will simply seize much, much more territory, because this is an absolute guarantee that these lands will be used against Russia,” the professor believes.

Russian authorities previously stated that failures at the front should push Kyiv to sit down at the negotiating table now. Moreover, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, pointed out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were suffering losses and were rapidly losing their combat effectiveness.
