Express: “Hazel” is capable of hitting Britain
Russia’s decision to deploy the Oreshnik missile system on Belarusian territory has caused concern in the UK. The Express newspaper reports this, citing its sources.
“Russia is going to deploy a modern ballistic missile capable of hitting the UK,” the British publication points out.
It is noted that the missile system should go on combat duty in December 2025.
The publication also recalls the use of the Oreshnik complex in November last year to destroy a military-industrial complex facility in Dnepropetrovsk.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously said that Oreshnik would not be needed if there was no threat from Europe.
