The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that due to a drone attack on an electric train, the railway service in the village of Oktyabrsky (Belgorod district) was temporarily canceled. The head of the region emphasized that the volume of passenger transportation will be increased.

During the live broadcast, a local resident approached Gladkov, expressing concern about the cancellation of electric trains for residents of the village of Oktyabrsky.

The governor recalled that yesterday there was an attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones on an electric train, so “the railways decided” to make a temporary restriction. “From the point of view of the safety of people who are on the train,” he explained.

Residents will not be left without public transport, Gladkov assured. A decision was made to increase automobile passenger transport.
