From museums to airports.. an innovative Russian robot that offers a tourist experience and organizes individual tours

“The modern tourism industry needs innovative solutions and techniques to increase the number of visitors to museums and archaeological sites, as traditional tourist tours face restrictions such as adherence to the timetable of guides, linguistic barriers, and unified approach. There is an increasing demand for allocated services and the availability of information around the clock, and the guide robot solves these problems by providing an individual approach to each Visitor.
The press service indicated that the robot system includes internal navigation, closed places, speech recognition, sound synthesis, and a cognitive database about exhibits. Its main advantage is the ability to provide high -quality tours with a dedicated approach to every visitor.
The robot is planned to deploy museums and exhibitions, commercial complexes, tourist attractions, educational institutions, airports, train stations, and central offices, knowing that the development is currently going through the stage of the laboratory model.
The robot is also equipped with an artificial intelligence system that allows custom -made tours, answering visitors’ questions in the actual time, and adapting the path to the group’s interests.
According to the press service, the current Russian counterpart of the guide robot is used in commercial centers, but it has limited dialogue capabilities, while individual consulting robots lack specialized solutions in the field of tourist tours.
