First thing to do after installing One UI 8

Samsung is releasing the One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series, which will soon expand to other devices, but there’s one thing that comes first among the tasks that you should perform right away after installing this major update.

Galaxy devices are filled with apps and services that come pre-installed and are required for the phone to ensure a crucial user experience. Update Apps

So, the one thing you should do after installing the One UI 8 update on your Samsung device is download the latest app updates to get the most recent and compatible version. Here are the two ways to update apps.

Galaxy Store

• Open this Samsung app marketplace
• Tap the Menu button from the bottom menu bar
• Select Updates
• Tap Update all or update them individually.

By the time you open this section, the Galaxy Store may automatically start downloading the pending updates. However, if it doesn’t, you have to do it manually.

Play Store

• Open Play Store
• Tap the profile icon on the top right corner
• Enter “Manage apps and device”
• Tap Updates Available
• Tap Update all to start downloading the available app updates.

Note – Make sure you have Wi-Fi connected to get a better user experience.
