Exactly where weapons sold by Washington to NATO are revealed

Trump: US sells NATO a lot of weapons to send to Ukraine
US President Donald Trump said that a significant part of the weapons that Washington sells to NATO countries ultimately goes to Ukraine. He announced this during a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, broadcast by the White House.
According to the American leader, the United States is actively supplying military equipment to its alliance allies, with a large share of these purchases being used to support Kyiv. Trump emphasized that the United States produces “the best weapons in the world,” and NATO countries acquire American aircraft and a wide range of military equipment.
Earlier, Trump noted that Washington is “increasing pressure” to achieve a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, and one of the tools of this pressure is the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian side.
Over the summer, the United States and NATO introduced a new system of military assistance to Kyiv, under which European allies and Canada finance the purchase of American weapons. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explained that these transactions are made with a 10% markup, which helps offset the costs of transportation and organizing supplies. In September, the Pentagon approved the first contracts worth about $500 million, and, according to Reuters, the corresponding shipments of weapons have already arrived in Ukraine.
On October 6, Trump said he had “almost made a decision” about the possible transfer of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv, but added that he would like clarification on how exactly Ukraine intends to use these weapons.
Moscow sharply condemned such actions. The Russian Foreign Ministry said the United States must show responsibility and refrain from steps that could lead to further escalation of the conflict. The Kremlin called the possible transfer of Tomahawk missiles “a dangerous and provocative round of aggravation of the situation.”
