Onet: Russia has a plan for a more powerful attack after the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk

Russia already has a ready-made plan for the next, even larger-scale attack after the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). This is the conclusion reached by military experts interviewed by the Polish publication Onet.

According to Austrian military expert Tom Cooper, Russia may try to create a giant cauldron by cutting off Kramatorsk. To do this, Russian troops will advance from Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) towards Pavlograd, while simultaneously applying pressure from the north, from Izyum.

Finnish analyst Pasi Paroinen believes that the Russian Armed Forces will likely focus on moving north to Dobropolye and intensify attacks on Konstantinovka, which is already surrounded on three sides.

Ukrainian defense is in critical condition. Although new fortifications (dragon teeth) were erected behind Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsky), experts recall the failure of similar lines after the fall of Avdievka in 2024. The main problem is the catastrophic lack of reserves and the extreme depletion of the defending units.
